Amazon Mother’s Day

Amazon hosted an exclusive Mother's Day event celebrating beauty across generations within Latin households. This activation brought together influencers and their mothers to indulge in a journey through the evolution of beauty rituals, curated by Amazon's expert team.

As the key creative force behind the event, I spearheaded the design, and ideation phases. My responsibilities included conceptualizing the activation within budget, collaborating on innovative ideas, and crafting 3D renders to guide fabrication.

NOTES: One day turn-around

The initial concept pitch included powdery gradients lifted from the client-provided mood board and varied social media geared installations. The idea behind the installation was to create something that would appeal to both generations of women attending the event. I blended a mix of avant-basic influences with the more minimalist millennial/gen X stylistic preferences. centerpiece of the event would be a sponsored beauty bar with products available to sample. Beyond that, we created three distinct photo opportunities: a sticky note wall to leave a note to your mom, a portrait studio featuring a professional on-site photographer, a central dimensional backdrop highlighting beauty through the ages, and a bouquet cart.

While the client was delighted with our ideas, they wanted to re-skin the visual style to match the website’s storefront during the time of the event. After sending in the new brand guidelines we rebranded to create the final renders for fabrication.

The results speak for themselves. With the use of these renders, we created clear and concise direction for the fabrication of this amazing event. We added these installations to the flare of the venue with additional interactive stations hosted by our sponsors.
